Current Perspectives on Fascial Fitness
This class is for those wanting to walk through fascial fundamentals, all the way to understanding anatomy, postural and functional implications of fascial dysfunction, and common self-treatment options available for health and wellness. This has been approved for continuing education units by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and is suitable for all who want to enhance their self-care or care of others through bodywork and connective tissue work. With a fun mix of teaching and hands-on practice, students will leave excited to dive deeper into their own flexibility, postural alignment, and connective tissue restrictions as well as helping others. This class includes discussion and demonstration of a variety of self-myofascial release tools on the market today; and what the research says about their effectiveness.
