Description: This class focuses on the basic anatomy of fascia, geared toward young athletes.
We start with the basics:
- What is fascia?
- Why is fascia important?
- How does it affect different areas of the body?
- How does fascia affect my athletic performance?
- How do I maintain healthy fascia?
- What tools can I use to self-treat fascia?
During this class, we have interactive stations where we show you different tools that will help loosen the fascia. You will be able to see, touch, try and experience the different tools to keep fascia healthy and flexible. We will also have several stations with experts available to show and discuss the different modalities and tools. You are able to interact, discuss and talk with physical therapists, acupuncturists and other body experts! By taking care of your fascia and keeping it healthy, this will help prevent muscle constriction, prevent injuries and athletic immobility.
Duration: 2-Hour Hands-On Instruction
